# Frome Flea Market & Craft Fair
Frome Flea Market & Craft Fair is a thriving monthly event held at West Woodlands Showground in Somerset, established in 2021 by Peter and Claire Townsend. Located less than 10 minutes from Frome town centre and 30 minutes from Bath, the venue attracts over 250 stallholders and serves a diverse audience seeking unique goods, handmade crafts and family entertainment.
The market caters to treasure hunters, independent artisans, craft enthusiasts and families looking for a full day out. Visitors can browse vintage and secondhand finds, purchase bespoke handmade items from talented makers, view classic vehicles, and enjoy live music performances in a relaxed countryside setting. The event also features children's rides, inflatables and an impressive food offering—from award-winning pasties and roast pork rolls to Greek gyros, wild boar and venison burgers, alongside homemade cakes and ice cream.
What distinguishes Frome Flea Market is its commitment to affordability and community. Rather than a corporate operation, it's designed specifically for independent traders and creative individuals, fostering a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere. The spacious site accommodates both indoor and outdoor stalls with ample parking, whilst the diverse vendor mix—combining vintage treasures with contemporary craftsmanship—appeals to a broad demographic. The addition of live entertainment, quality refreshments and family-friendly activities transforms it from a simple market into a comprehensive leisure experience, held monthly on Sundays throughout 2026.

Fabulous flea market. Great variety and sensible prices. I try to always make a point to attend and invariably find some great pieces that accompany me home. Really friendly stall holders that add to the pleasure of this market.

Brilliant day out, very well organised with different sections for auction, car boot, antiques and craft stalls. We were also very impressed with the vintage car display and the live music. There are 4 or 5 food vans as well.

Such a great day out for everyone, so many local and handmade things to buy, car boot area for bargains, and SO many lush food stalls! I was also happily surprised to see some little fun rides for the kids! We spent hours there!
